Type of inspection

Visual inspection of Thermal imaging cameras (performed by the customer)

Frequency : After every use

Inspect:

• The thermal imaging camera, to verify that there is no structural, chemical, or heat damage
• Mechanical parts, to ensure that all screws are tight 
• Lenses, to verify that there is no chemical damage due to heat, cracks or breaks
• Warning labels: ensure that these are intact
• The battery

Note: Whenever a defect is noted, the camera must be removed from service immediately until the proper repairs are made by an MSA representative.
