CONSUMPTION REDUCTION

Areo-Fire’s head office was built on energy reduction principles:

Our building is heated and cooled by a geothermal well and feeder system consuming 30% less energy than a conventional building.

1. Compact fluorescent lights.
2. Solar wall on the south side to store warm air and distribute it throughout the building in winter.
3. Toilets with 2 flushes in order to reduce water consumption.

RESPONSIBLE OPERATION

Areo-Fire is committed to using recycled and/or biodegradable materials in the majority of the components that allow the operation of our business:

1. Procurement process of packaging products on an ecological basis.
2. Reuse of packaging products for our shipments, instead of recycling them.
3. Sourcing paper and cardboard with the highest recycled fiber content.
4. All used chemicals (oils, battery acids, etc.) are disposed of by specialized firms for recycling.
5. Recycling of all our metal scraps (steel, bronze, aluminum, etc.).
6. Recycling of paper, cardboard, metals (copper, bronze, iron, steel and aluminum), alkaline batteries and plastics.
7. We favor electronic documents such as PDFs in order to reduce our paper consumption.
