Exterior PPE Storage Cabinet, Clean Locker™
Storing contaminated personal protective equipment outside the cab significantly reduces exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that firefighters are exposed to following a response.
In a nutshell, the CleanLocker™ is a ventilated storage cabinet located outside the vehicle cab. It is used to store contaminated PPE or SCBA.

- Electric or manual system – The CleanLocker™ is available in two versions: electric or manual. When electric, a switch on the cab’s dashboard activates the deployment of the CleanLocker™ upon the vehicle’s arrival at the scene.
- Staging Point – The purpose of the CleanLocker™ is to create a staging point for the fire crew to don their gear. The CleanLocker ™ has a capacity for four full sets of PPE including SCBAs. An optional pull-out drawer located on the operator side is also available.
